This art is a watercolor sketch design I created for an intersection street mural for Frenchtown, Missouri! I wrote a proposal for a CFA called PAINT THE TOWN. I was absolutely delighted to be selected as a runner up to submit a design for the final art! I had several ideas in mind, but only two weeks to prepare for the Final Call for Art. This design: Pop Art Intersection Street Art With Smiley Face Balloon was one I created but did not submit for the final art. I chose another design instead. I thought this design too busy. The art had to be seen in all directions from a pedestrians point of view walking on the street, so the art had to be created with this in mind. It was a very hard choice to figure which design to submit. I was under so much pressure, and I asked my friends on Social Media to Vote for their favorite design. I had a majority vote for another image, which I will post soon. Unfortunately, the piece I submitted did not get chosen for the final design. Overall, it was a positive experience. I had a blast creating this design. So fun!
