This art is inspired by Steampunk. This is my second try at a collage in this style. I really enjoyed being creative with this piece of art. The banner behind the woman's bouffant hair ads flair to the piece. I thought of adding words to it, but wanted to leave that to the viewer.It is like a cartoon with the word balloons floating over the characters heads. lol I also added music notes, a treble clef, fleur de lis, a sun and the woman is wearing a mask, relaxing before the ball.
Genevieve Esson has a B.A. in Painting from Webster University, an award winning artist, her work is collected regionally and internationally. Esson is a painter and multi media artist. She has completed over 25 Public Art Projects. Her main medium is acrylics.
