Description
This is a close-up view of an iris. I took the photo myself. It was a flower growing in my mother's garden back in June. I was just blown away by all of the color and intricate beauty of this spectacular flower. At first I tried to paint it realistically, but couldn't get into it, so I let it sit for awhile and worked on other artworks, and then I envisioned it like my "Lion Gargoyle" and "Metaphysical Habituation" pieces and I finished it within two days.
